77 King Street won the 2008 MBA award for Refurbishment/Renovation/Extension $25,000,001 and over.
Design and construction of 23 levels of base building refurbishment and façade re-cladding including five new levels for retail space and 18 levels of commercial offices.
The existing building was stripped back to a concrete shell and the refurbishment included the complete rebuild of all services, lifts, interior fitout, new façade and relocation of structural slabs, columns and walls plus the addition of two new escalators, an additional stair shaft and two new lifts.
