Urbanest is an environmentally responsive and low energy building providing quality student accommodation. The building will comprise of 15 storeys, 61 units, and 333 beds with ground floor court yard, administration office and communal recreational facilities - all tailored to the specific requirements and previous experience of the Urbanest model.
The building podium height and tower setback align with the adjacent buildings. The playful façade is designed to reflect the use of the building and acknowledge the site's corner location within Haymarket to create a strong visual identity.
In keeping with the environmentally sustainable objective, the inner city location and the student market, the development has no car parking spaces but provides secure parking for 122 bicycles.
