St John's Place (VIC)

Contract value: $31.0m
Completion date: April 2012

St John's Place is a social housing initiative undertaken by the Department of Human Services in accordance with the federal government's 'Nation Building - Economic Stimulus Plan' programme.

The project comprised the demolition of existing buildings, reinstatement and incorporation of two heritage-listed townhouses and the construction of one basement level car park, 100 residential apartments over three separate buildings and an extensive landscaped area. The reinforced concrete structure includes high-end finishes with a signature façade of coloured glass fins.

Overall the development will be a positive contribution to the North Melbourne area and also the wider community of Melbourne.

Residential

The residential property sector is filled with builders delivering high volume, project style premises. At Built, we’re geared towards delivering high quality, custom made ‘bespoke’ projects. Our ability to deliver on design intent and project vision is what differentiates Built.

Residential projects are unique in that they have multiple clients, usually with different needs and wants. We believe this uniqueness requires a culture where attention to detail and individual need are always at the forefront.

The residential market has tightened in recent years. Developers need to position their project well, optimise project value and minimise project cost.  This is highly suited to our relationship model and our business and front end services.
