Fivex (NSW)
Contract value: $8.5m (including fitout)
Client: Lesli Berger
Architect: Eeles Trelise
Completion date: December 2006
Fivex won the 2007 MBA awards for Excellence in Energy Efficiency and Best Construction - Commercial Office Building, $5m-$10m.
Designed by the award winning architectural firm, Eeles Trelease, the building adheres to strict Australian environmental standards and achieves a 5 Star environmental rating. It includes one level of ground floor retail and three levels of commercial offices.
From the way sunlight contributes to lighting and heating, to the water and waste management system that means the building has no connection to mains water or sewers, the building applied leading environmental practices.
In addition, all fixtures and fittings were rated. We even used 80% of the demolished building in constructing the new site.
Retail
The face of retailing is changing with the increasing realisation that store environments need to provide a branded experience to increase customer engagement. Attracting customers, increasing loyalty and applying effective retail strategies are all dependant on the retail outlet’s environment – a critical component to a retail outlet’s success.
From shopping centres housing multiple tenancies to rollouts of nationally branded retail outlets, at Built we have extensive experience in creating and delivering retailing environments to exacting standards, having completed works for a number of leading Australian and international retail brands.
