Built is the largest Australian owned builder with a proud team of Geelong based staff committed to supporting the local community. The region’s success is our success, and we’ve helped create more than 2,000 jobs in the Geelong region, grown the city and shaped its skyline.
Built has been involved in the successful delivery of landmark projects in Geelong and the Western region, including the Geelong Clinic project, CSIRO NSEM project, Waurn Ponds amenities upgrade, Deakin University Costa Hall and Nyaal Precinct developments and Geelong’s tallest and most sustainable commercial building at 1 Malop St, all of which have added significant value to the community.
Built is also now delivering the Hanwha Armoured Vehicle Centre of Excellence (H-ACE) next to Avalon Airport in Geelong for Hanwha Defense Australia (HDA) and Contract Manager partner Conscia. This will be a major project for the region and support economic growth in the region as part of Australia’s sovereign Defence industry development.
Built has a strong commitment to supporting the Geelong community including working with local businesses and trades to deliver complex construction projects, providing local jobs and training opportunities and also working with local charities. We are proud to support local causes and organisations, including entering a corporate partnership with Geelong Mums to support families in need and participating in the Run 4 Geelong to raise funds for the Barwon Health Foundation.
