Built holds DISP membership from the Defence Industry Security Branch (DISB). This provides our Defence sector clients with the confidence and assurance that Built has policies and procedures in place that align to the security requirements of the Australian Defence Force.

Supporting veterans and their families
Soldier On Gold Pledge Partnership
Built is a Soldier On Gold Pledge Partner, which provides a pathway for veterans and their families transitioning from the Australian Defence Force to civilian life.
Soldier On is a not-for-profit organisation and is Australia’s only national, fully integrated service provider for veterans and their families. Soldier On reaches more than one million Australian veterans and their families with services including mental health and wellbeing, employment support and education, and connections with family and the community.
Built also participates in the March On Challenge to raise funds for Soldier On. In 2022 our Built team walked a total of 96km in the month of March – the equivalent of the Kakoda Track.
Veterans in Construction
Built is proud to support Veterans in Construction to help us hire local staff with the right skills to support our project delivery teams.
Veterans in Construction is an 100% Australian-owned and operated certified social enterprise that provides employment opportunities for veterans in the construction industry.
In 2022 Built engaged Veterans in Construction to provide local labour to support two Victorian prison upgrade projects at the Marngoneet Correctional Centre (Lara) and the Metropolitan Remand Centre (Ravenhall).
