Built awarded construction contract of 60 King William Street Adelaide
Built has been appointed the construction partner for 60 King William Street, Charter Hall Group’s latest commercial development in the Adelaide CBD.
Comprising approximately 40,000sqm of office space and 3,600sqm of retail space for 3,500 commercial and retail workers, the 60 King William Street development will become the largest commercial real estate project in Adelaide’s CBD.
Following the successful delivery of both the $260 million commercial office tower GPO Exchange, and the $90 million world first, mixed use residential, commercial, retail and social services hub, U City in Adelaide CBD, Built is looking forward to partnering with Charter Hall to deliver this exciting development.

Designed by Cox Architecture, the development will include a PCA A-Grade office tower with state-of-the-art facilities, alongside a new retail, food, and lifestyle precinct. The project incorporates the careful retention and restoration of the State heritage listed Sands and MacDougall facade.
60 King William Street has been designed with industry leading environmental sustainability top of mind with 6 Star Green Star, 5 Star NABERS Energy ratings, 6 Star NABERS Waste rating and Gold Well certification. The building will feature 14-levels of A-Grade office space, an exclusive roof top terrace and be technologically enabled with a centralised business hub, touchless access, and facial recognition.
With works on site already underway. More than 1,500 local jobs will be created during the development delivery phase. Completion is anticipated in mid-2023.
