Built sponsors Run4Geelong
Built was proud to partner with Plenary as major sponsors for Run4Geelong, hosted by the Barwon Health Foundation.
Run4Geelong supports the vital work of Barwon Health, with all proceeds made from the event going directly to Barwon Health to provide better comfort and care to local cancer patients, sick children, those with mental health challenges and heart conditions.
There were 3000 participants on the day that participated in the 10km, 5.5km and 1km heats with over $130,000 raised for local health services in the region.
After the runners crossed the finish line, they entered the ‘Plenary and Built Post-Race Precinct’ to continue the festivities. Inside the precinct we hosted a sausage sizzle alongside several activations for the community, including a coffee cart, face painting, lolly bar and garden nursery.
“Being a major sponsor for Run4Geelong was incredibly rewarding for Built,” said Nicholas Bufé, Built Strategic New Business Director, “it was a great day engaging with the Geelong community for an important cause, where we had close to a 45 strong Built team participating.”
Plenary Bid Director Damien Jaipaul agreed. “Well done to the team at Barwon Health Foundation for pulling off a successful event along the Geelong waterfront,” he said. “Plenary always looks to support the communities in which it operates. I’m proud Plenary got behind this event, and to be one of the team that represented Plenary on the day, playing out our part to help raise some much-needed funds for Barwon Health.”
