Client: Burgmann Anglican School
Architect: Cox Architecture
Completion date: January 2020
Works included initial design phase for the Senior School Expansion at Burgmann Anglican School’s Gungahlin campus, upon successful completion of the design phase Built was then contracted to manage the construction phase.
This project replaced three existing demountable classroom buildings with two, two-storey modular classroom buildings constructed in two stages. The smaller, western-most building represented Stage 1 and the larger, eastern-most building represented Stage 2 as part of expansion plans for the senior school.
Following the successful delivery of the two modular buildings, Built was contracted under an ECI arrangement to deliver the new senior classroom building. The works consisted of construction of a new 2 storey classroom building within a busy campus. The project included 5 new classrooms, a staffroom with kitchenette, and extensive landscaping to tie the building in to the existing campus.
Lastly Built was engaged to assist with the design and construction of the Early Learning Centre. This project consisted of a new single storey build comprising 5 studios, 2 sleeps rooms, staff room with kitchen, reception and staff offices. The building was completed with its own carpark and landscaping.
