The project provided four levels of exclusive retail space, two office levels, a two storey Penthouse and sub-basement storage and waste facilities areas.

Works included extensive demolition and structural alterations; including the removal of the existing lift and lift shaft, existing suspended slabs, and amendments to fire stairs and paths of access and egress.

Upgrade works to this iconic building included the provision of a new lift and lift shaft to the north end of the building, new internal access stairs, glazed skylights and full installation of all new services.

Working collaboratively with the client, Built helped to create a unique Melbourne mixed-use space which centrally positions The Hour Glass retail shop across the Ground floor and Level 1, and gives the brand a quintessentially Melbourne twist to deliver a luxury retail experience with international appeal.
