Overview

The New Way Forward:

This design and construction project included the major façade upgrade of the centrally located tower which sits above the Valley Metro Train Station. Works were planned and staged to account for the live environment to ensure safety, and mitigate disturbance to the tower occupants, retail tenancies and over 30,000 railway commuters.

The works also included the demolition and fitout of a commercial office, shell and core works to all levels, refurbishment to amenities on all levels, demolition of existing façade to allow for new full height vision glazing as well as a new lobby, ground floor tenancy, end of trip facilities and services throughout.

The building meets a hybrid PCA A/B Standard and will achieve a 4 star NABERS rating, with a view to achieve a 4.5 star rating once 75 percent occupancy is achieved.
